One thing I never took advantage of in EVE was the overall power of drones. It's easy to continue leveling your guns, and simply ignore the drones due to long training times, but as you progress you find yourself needing them more and more. In this article I'll go over the different types of drones, their damage types, and their strengths and weaknesses.
NOTE: Since Kronos, the base damage has been raised, but the stats are mostly the same.

Ammo Types
One thing that is always confusing to a new player is the various types of ammo provided, and the effects of each. The practice is usually to constantly use a certain type ammo by default, but what about all the others? Using the right type of ammo in certain situations can be extremely dire. This guide will cover everything you need to know about ammo types, and give the effects of each.

Implant Sets and Bonuses
Here's a simple quick-reference for implant sets. Most of the information has been condensed, so if you are not familiar with an implant you might want to read the in-game description for that implant first. This reference basically gives you the information you're looking for when looking through the implants, allowing you to skim through the attributes, instead of having to look them up. It can also be noted that the higher the slot number, the higher the secondary effect, and also the higher the price. Enjoy!

Modules Types
A few posts back, we talked about "epic loot" in EVE, but never explained the purpose of each type. Those types include, Tech 1, Tech 2, Faction, Storyline, Deadspace, and Officer. Unlike other games, each type actually has a uniform set of differences from others. In this articles I'll explain many differences as well as how to use them to your advantage.

Finding the Epic Loot
All through my gaming career I spent countless hours in various games farming or collecting what was called "epic loot". When I came to EVE Online it almost seemed like hoarded information as to where to find such loot. Of course when I started all of that loot could only be obtained through contracts, and now that it has been incorporated into the market, I'm sure many people wonder. "Where do I find items like this?". When I asked players where to get it, they were reluctant to tell me, or acted as if they didn't know. Unlike those people I'm going to tell you were to find it all.
